Casino Consultant Discusses Cheating Techniques on Television
A new program will be broadcasted on the Travel Channel, called
'Cheats and Scams 2'. The program features the casino consultant
and expert on casino scams, Sal Piacente. The program is a
reaction to the release of a DVD called, 'Poker Cheats Exposed'.
This two and a half hour DVD is produced by Pocket Aces. It
shows all the methods that professional card sharks use to beat
naïve poker players.
According to a research of Card Shark Media, about 60 million
Americans play poker at home, in casinos or in cafeterias or
watch the The DVD 'Poker Cheats Exposed' tells the story of a 45-year-old poker cheat, who has never been caught, called 'Charlie'. Charlie reveals all the secrets on poker cheating, without revealing his own identity. For more than 20 years, Sal Piacente has been a casino consultant to over 40 important casinos and law enforcement agencies, throughout Canada, the Caribbean, Argentina and of course, the United States. Piacente claims that the problem lies in the disinterest of the casinos and card clubs. They don't really care if people are cheated out of their money, since they get the rake, not matter who wins the game. The players have to protect themselves, and Piacente would like to help them with this.
